Beautiful stepladder for children's furniture

Everyone writes that this stepladder is difficult to assemble. However, if you're a professional carpenter, you shouldn't have any problems. But seriously, assembly isn't hard. However, there are no words in the instructions, you need to interpret their meaning. For people who would rather have it spelled out: Step I: (why don't they call this step Step 1?) The Allen key provided isn't long enough (because the screws are pretty hard to turn). The first step is to put a plastic extension on the long part of the hex wrench to extend the hex wrench handle. You need to insert the hex key into the side of the plastic piece that has the number 4 printed very faintly Step 1: The two sides of the step stool are pre-assembled. Ultimately, you need to attach 4 crossbars to the two sides with the long black screws. The two longer pieces go down. The one with the hole in the middle is the front floor. If you look closely the crosses are also UP and DOWN (the edges are cut on an angle - the shorter side should go UP to allow the two pre-assembled sides to taper slightly together. This is what the picture above page 3 is trying to show). Attach the two lower cross braces to the LEFT pre-assembled side panel using the black screws. You'll know it's the LEFT side because the dowel hole is closer to the center. Do not fully tighten the screws - leave about 1/4 inch. Step 2 Attach the upper cross braces to the left pre-assembled side with 2 black screws. (both tops are identical as far as I can tell). Don't tighten them all the way - leave maybe 1/4 inch. Now all 4 cross braces are pre-assembled and fixed on the left side. Step 3 Use two wooden dowels to attach the first tier. Step 4. Use 4 black screws to attach the RIGHT side pre-assembled panel. Don't tighten them all the way - leave maybe 1/4 inch. Step 5 Turn the chair upside down and attach the top step and first step with 3 silver screws. Step 6. Go back and tighten the 8 black side screws.
