You should wrap it with a rubber band before removing the plastic completely. Look at the terrible winding quality of this coil. This happened as soon as I took it out of the box. I tried to unravel it, but it only got worse because of the loose winding. I bought this for an upcoming project and didn't use it right away so SGT didn't get it right due to a little over 30 days. I usually use another company that does it right for the customer, but thought I'd take a chance and give it a try. C'mon SGT, there are other reviews here asking you to add a rubber band to stop this.
