Don't worry, that's exactly what you want.

I have a lot of 27 inch gaming monitors at home. Worked exclusively in this size for many years. Having bought literally a dozen monitors over the past few years, I've gotten pretty good at it. My first 32" monitor that I received on sale. I should have been careful when they didn't list a response time but thought I'd take a chance. BIG FAIL. Now it sits idle in the bottom of my closet. This is normal when you watch movies or surf the web. But I'm an FPS gamer and this sucks. It almost cut me off from another big screen. I'm glad I decided to take another chance with this one . Wow ! thats great. Super fast response time. Deep black bright colors. high update. This is FPS gamers dream. Looks like I have a lot of upgrades for a 27" gaming monitor. One important note; I need very high frame rates in my games. From 144 to 165 is normal. To get 165fps at the native 2K resolution of this monitor requires a very high quality system. Especially with games like Cyberpunk 2077 or S play with ray tracing enabled. So I'm still running these games at 1080p on this monitor, and you know what? No problem. They look just as good as if they were in native resolution. So don't be afraid to do it. Same high update. Same picture edge to edge. The graphics look just as good to me. And I get the 144 to 165 fps I want from my RTX 3070. Conclusion: Forget the money. It's just bang. The best monitor I've ever had, that's for sure.
