I use Prismacolor Pencils because of the intensity of the pigment and ease of application, for that reason, I reserve use of them for my artworks. For the adult coloring books, I wanted a pencil that delivered the same kind of intensity of pigment and ease of application. Some pencil brands are so waxy that you have to press harder or layer multiple times and it still looks faded out. After reading the reviews for Zenacolor Pencils I decided to take a chance based on the reviews. Sure enough, the Zenacolor Pencils passed the test!. I am happy to have a backup set to my Prismacolor Pencils. They are just as good as Prismacolor Pencils but more affordable. Will likely reorder in the future!
