I put off washing my two down pillows as I had no way of "relaxing" the down after washing. Using these little blue balls worked great. I threw them in the dryer on the lowest setting with 2 pillows and left them on for 60 minutes. After that, I shook out the pillows, threw them back in the dryer, and set the timer back for another 60 minutes. When the dryer next stopped there were no wet clumps of fluff in the pillows, just perfect loose fluff that took a little longer to complete the drying process in our hot climate. Of course it's better than using old Keds tennis shoes and tennis balls and listening to them in the dryer for hours.
