You get what you pay for

I have used DryMax dryer balls for many years. I wanted to save money going to the store. I bought it. They are slightly smaller than specified (exact size). When cold, they're VERY soft, meaning they get easily crushed from the heat over time. They were very fragile, as if they break easily. I went to the local shop. DM balls are slightly larger, more expensive (cheaper in store than online) but will last for years.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works great and saves money

I like that I don't have to buy drying towels which is good for the environment and my wallet. I also like that there is no smell. I have problems with certain smells and chemicals that are causing me an allergic reaction. At the same time there is no smell. It says use at least 3, but I've found that depending on how big my load is, I need to use 4-6 of these to keep my laundry from getting static. I'm pretty sure I'll have to use all 6 in the winter as the air will be dry too.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked great on two down pillows

I put off washing my two down pillows as I had no way of "relaxing" the down after washing. Using these little blue balls worked great. I threw them in the dryer on the lowest setting with 2 pillows and left them on for 60 minutes. After that, I shook out the pillows, threw them back in the dryer, and set the timer back for another 60 minutes. When the dryer next stopped there were no wet clumps of fluff in the pillows, just perfect loose fluff that took a little longer to complete the drying…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
