I wanted to go from dual 27" monitors to dual 32" but was concerned about having to reconfigure an application I had written to run on a 27" 1080p monitor. I knew full 4K would require a lot of changes, so I was glad this one, QHD 1440p, changed the screen layout only slightly. The 27 inch monitor was set at 125% screen scaling and with this new 150% screen scaling the results are exactly what I wanted. To start, only one 32" monitor was connected (works with a 27" and a 32""). It was interesting for me to observe the behavior of the application when dragging from one screen to the other. After a little more than half was a part If you drag the window to another monitor, the resolution "jumps" from 1080p to 1440p and you can see how the scaling and resolution change the look. The monitor has both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, but the manual warns against possible compatibility problems when using an HDMI to DisplayPort cable. I did not try it, I used the DisplayPort cable that came with it, since my graphics card had DisplayPort outputs Narrow and long block, two of which fit side by side Not shiny and much less reflective than my old HP monitors There is an adjustable button switch in the middle of the bottom edge There are no monitor settings Especially good has m I liked the "manual" setting, which was a smooth adjustment from warm to cool (there were also "warm", "medium", "cool" presets). The button is also a four-way joystick for navigating through menu items. I just turned off the computer, plugged in a new monitor, restarted the computer and it worked. There was a small problem with the sound. Since this monitor supports sound, my default sound card was using it after a reboot and I had no sound. I went into windows display settings and changed the audio output back to the original source and all was fine. I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment on gaming performance.
