Review on ⚡️ Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100V 30A 12/24V Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth: Efficient Power Optimization by Terry Wilson

When my MPPT arrived I checked the installation and setup information, Victron's FAQ, read the information on the forum etc. and then proceeded to connect the MPPT to my van's house battery and then to the solar panels. The result was a screenshot from the VicrtonConnect app with a big fat zero. I've spent days troubleshooting, accepting user error, asking for help on the Victron forums, getting a few replies, but nothing has worked. Victron's troubleshooting policy for items purchased through Revain is to contact the seller. Last Monday I called Inverter-R-US, explained the situation and the steps I took to resolve it. The supplier quickly concluded that I had a bad MPPT and sent me a new one which arrived two days later. I plugged in a new one and a 159 watt screenshot is the new result. Much better. In fact, judging by the Victron forums, most people reporting these kinds of problems with MPPT are guilty of missing something or doing something wrong. However, this indicates that the device occasionally fails and has to be replaced from the outset.
