Bought these last August and they were very light in my 5.5ft F150 bed and would also be light enough for a 6.5ft bed. I just used standard glue and had no trouble gluing them. I haven't used the Stock Switch so I can't comment on that. The case appears to be fairly waterproof and has withstood a lot of knocks, abuse and general use for deer and waterfowl hunting. I've used these lights a ton as I always use my bed for bow fishing in the summer, hunting in the fall and ice fishing in the winter. They were looking good until I looked at them a few weeks ago. It seems the cold Minnesota winter has been tough on them, and more than 50% of the lights are off. Surprisingly, they're still bright enough, but aesthetically they look terrible, so I'll be replacing them this summer. I want to give this product 5 stars but having to replace them after every winter is a deal breaker. If you live in a cold climate, keep in mind that they may only last a year.
