Handle bent on first bolt

The very first bolt I tried to remove without a wrench, the tool bent before the bolt came loose. The pins must be welded on both sides of the plate. I asked for a new one and am sending this one back. I still have a camshaft bolt, I will update this review once I get a new one. Update: The company contacted me and said most people don't have a problem. I would say that was all I could do to loosen the bolts, I believe they were tightened much more than the recommended 95 ft/lbs. I ended up having to use a chain wrench. I believe if they were welded on both sides of the pins they would be much stronger. This was used on the 3mz-fe engine. So this tool might work in normal conditions, but unfortunately not in mine.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Almost never
