Needless to say I was very disappointed with the installation to find it did not cover the original track of the old lock. I will try to find a way to put it on but so far it looks really bad. See image. Installed on a $100,000 RV with a full body paint job. The lock itself works as described. Update: I did a little research with the company and they offer a gasket that works in this situation for a small fee, but I decided to get some vinyl decal material and make my own. It's not perfect, but it looks pretty good. The seal is just a rectangle and does not follow the contour of the lock. I can still see some of the old paint lines under the sticker, but the average person will never see that. There are others who will. Fixing this problem costs the manufacturer about 50 cents. It cost me $10. I now have enough material to make 25 pads. I'm still happy with the performance of the lock. The only question is durability. The time will show. I give 4.5 stars.
