I used this light correctly - I put it in an outboard stern filter NOT where the fish are swimming. I apply it for an hour one day, then for an hour the next day. About halfway through that hour my husband saw 2 of our 6 fish swimming on the side. We immediately turned the lights off and thankfully a day later the fish seem to be back to normal except all the fish were attacking each other aggressively - I'm guessing they are still under stress. The seaweed is really gone, but I'd rather have a green tank with live fish than a clean tank with dead fish!
