I received the box with all the items inside. After pulling out the pieces and looking at the instructions, I was able to tell how to put them together with no problem (no problem at all). After putting them on my 2015 Honda CR-V I was able to line up the holes but the rear one was very tight and I had to slide it into place. I also had to loosen the bolts on the other side of the stem so there was enough room to slide it into place (it was a little tricky and I didn't have room to move the top crossbar, but it worked). into space and I was able to tighten all the screws). I had no trouble installing the front cross member, only the rear. It took me about 35 minutes to install both cross members. These crossbars cost about 3 times cheaper than the factory crossbars, but they don't look any worse. For this money you can't go wrong.
