I'm an Arduino user and have a few Rasp Pis and other things like OpenSprinkler, but I wanted to start making an attic fan controller project and experiment with it. I'm dabbling with python and other stuff and have only had a few hours playing with it since it just came out, but I've used the demos and code that comes with the Waveshare product. Being new to RasPi/Linux it still took a few hours (and that damn GoT ending got in the way!) but I was able to run all the code samples, on/off tests etc just one with the I haven't played and haven't run it is WebPioi but I think it's designed for Pi2 and I'm running it on 3B+ so I just need a night or day to play with it. Overall so far so good from this newbie. My goal is to install a simple I2C temperature sensor in the attic and then once it reaches the set temperature, turn on the relay for the attic fan. I will update later!
