Nice little device. Works like a charm when you want to keep the switch away from power and the load. Allows the switch to use lower AWG wire, e.g. B. Category 5 wire, while the higher AWG is used to connect the power supply to the load and turn it on or off remotely. I installed a relay in the RV to control a local battery powered backup light for the RV. The switch is tractor mounted and Category 5 wiring is connected from the camper to the tractor for this and other purposes when the camper is hitched.
