This review refers to a Kaupplus snap ring pliers in a 4-piece set. They can make both internal and external snap rings in sizes from 0.7" to 2.3". Their construction is very strong with machined heads. They have angled locking ring tips to help them stay on the pliers. Those are pretty good tools. Each side of the handle is machined from one piece, just what you need in a quality pair of pliers. They are very similar to Knipex pliers which also have a great design. The best thing about them is that they are much cheaper than other similar pliers. I used them to remove the snap ring from the ball joint, they were the perfect size and worked perfectly. The only thing I see they could improve is that the points that go into the retaining ring could be tilted at a slightly different angle to keep it on the pliers. But overall this is a fantastic set at a really reasonable price for what you get. Only time will tell how they hold up but so far they look great to me.
