Pretty good set of pliers for large snap rings. The tips are quite large (1.8mm) and therefore not suitable for small snap rings. You will receive 2 straight and 2 curved tip pliers (one each for the inner and outer retaining rings. The tips are slightly flared and textured to hold the ring securely on the pliers. For the money they are a good deal.

This set of circlip pliers was a big step forward for me. My previous tool only had pliers and then 4 different "heads" that you put on or take off as needed. A pair of pliers for each snap ring function is of course a real time saver. And they work much more efficiently than detachable heads. Kauplus pliers work as advertised and are priced close to the competition.

I work a lot with garden tractors and outboard motors. I'm repairing a 40 hp outboard motor. and associated remote control. The remote control has spring clips.
