Image quality is like a veil over what you see. I messed up a lot with the settings and still can't get the quality it should be. The image quality leaves a lot to be desired right out of the box. I would not recommend this product. Since I only use it as a second monitor, I don't want to return it. I hope that the screen will die out and I will be forced to buy a different, but different product. In addition, the sound quality of the monitor is poor. and too quiet - you'll need LOTS louder if you need sound for anything other than using it as a second monitor. If you're trying to stream content from a gaming console or laptop, I'd recommend using the audio ports on the outside of the unit to route it to external speakers. These are the only "cons". Otherwise it's big for my purposes, the sound doesn't have to be loud for my purposes and has everything you need. Live looks better than in the photo. I was able to assemble it myself very quickly.
