A contoured pillow was once advertised on Revain as "Brick". It was truly phenomenal and no more than $40. I had the best sleep of my life in those years before it was lost. I've spent hundreds of dollars to replace it. I have constant pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back from a motorcycle accident many years ago and the only thing that has helped is "that". After reading all the reviews on this pillow I was hoping that THIS would finally be a replacement. . $100 for a pillow is a lot of money for me, and I don't spend that money lightly. I was immediately disappointed as it is in no way like "putting your head on the curb" as one review claimed. The pillow compresses significantly and does not support the neck at all. It also absorbs heat and keeps me tossing and turning. I can't imagine the extra cost of returning it, so I'll probably just add it to the collection in the back of my closet. then keep looking.
