I don't have a huge freezer - it only holds so much. No matter what I did, things got lost because I was inevitably overlapping things. I often had to unload part of the freezer to find something, and sometimes things would fall out while I was searching or trying to rearrange things. Now I group the items in these baskets. I still have to take things out to find things that might have fallen on my back, but I pull out a whole basket full of items and put everything back right away. It saves me a lot of time and I know exactly where everything is: my frozen bread, bagels, rolls, etc. in one basket and all the meat in another. I have another basket for butter, frozen fruit, and other items. Now I take out one basket and put it instead of a dozen separate things, save time and don't stand for 10 minutes with the freezer door open. I've tried plastic shoe boxes but they were too small and I've tried cardboard boxes but of course they broke too quickly from moisture. I wish they weren't that expensive but the benefits of having them are definitely worth it.
