Great idea but they restrict air flow
My vents are 12x2 so I used a paper cutter and sliced these in half lengthwise. The package states they can be cut and doing it with the paper cutter made them straight and even. These definitely restrict the air flow though. My system had to work pretty hard after I put them in and I immediately noticed a drop in temperature in my bathroom after I put one in the vent in there. I pulled them all out and the system didn’t have to work as hard. I can’t even use these now.
- Very economical.
- The filters may not have a significant impact on reducing allergens for those with severe allergies or respiratory conditions
