Buyer Beware best in my review

These filters inhibit so much air flow that my register covers blew off the vents. It blocks so much airflow that it can cause damage to the furnace. I will be returning these.

  • We no longer smell smoke from above apt!!!! Thank God!
Cons
  • Replacing 20 filters at once may be more expensive than smaller packs, especially for those on a tight budget

It works okay best in my review

I bought specifically because I have neighbors that smoke, alll kinds of stuff every hour of the day ( from 2am everyday man) and it funnels through our vents all the time!So I bought these just for that reason, however it helped stave off dust.I had to cut the sheets because it was too wide for my vents. It is easier to cut through even though filters were slightly thick. However, the 1st day of putting these up - you couldn't smell a thing!But the second day, you could smell every bit of my…

Great idea but they restrict air flow

My vents are 12x2 so I used a paper cutter and sliced these in half lengthwise. The package states they can be cut and doing it with the paper cutter made them straight and even. These definitely restrict the air flow though. My system had to work pretty hard after I put them in and I immediately noticed a drop in temperature in my bathroom after I put one in the vent in there. I pulled them all out and the system didn’t have to work as hard. I can’t even use these now.

Tuff stuff could not puncture to connect to vent

Very tiff material. Too tuff to puncture , even with a sharp instrument. Hope they don’t fall into duct work That's my review.

  • The filters may become clogged and require frequent replacing, adding to maintenance costs and time
