Good fit and good DIY project

I have a 2011 Ecoboost F150 XLT 2WD. The front struts were easy to install and I didn't have to loosen the main bolt on the lower arm like most YouTubers suggest. I just used one mount and did the installation myself. I recommend using an impact wrench on the bottom post screw to make this much quicker and easier. Otherwise, you might pull on it and break a couple of wrenches in the process. I used effects. For the front, be sure to rotate the strut in the opposite direction (180 degrees) when reinstalling. The hardest part was getting the back end into the gravel to loosen the axle and install the new blocks. If you're not careful, the backend will slip depending on how you raise it. I had to put a jack on the hitch to stabilize it and add some other precautions and of course jacks on the axle itself. The u-bolts were too long so I decided to cut them off with a grinder at the end of the install. After I was done I took it straight to the tire shop where they put new tires on me and did the alignment. You should always bulge the suspension when braking, especially if you're changing the entire geometry like with this kit. The drive is completely different, mainly because I used 305/55/20 with 265/70/18. I bought a Falken WildPeaks AT3 and they printed on the 305/55/20 (33 x 12.50 x 20) side. However, these tires are about 34 inches tall and are much taller and wider than the Firestone Destination MT2 (33 x 12.50 x 20) that was stock at the tire shop. The chassis is much stiffer with little bump in the steering. It has the same handling as a street radial. With street radials and factory height the truck drives more like a car and I'll be racing old back roads like I drive and now you gotta show some respect for the tough ones (more like truck driving and handling). I bought this kit because I get stuck easily and now I can go places I wouldn't dare. More aggressive tire grip and limited slippage prevent a tire from digging its own grave, which would get stuck when towing something on wet ground in some spots or tow a trailer (RV or utility vehicle) and would easily fall through a driveway with a decent one Cross overpass. And yes, I use a leveling coupler. rear level and doesn't give the truck any headroom it didn't have before. There are a few disadvantages, but these are not caused by the lift. It has to do with big tires. The speedometer is off, the fuel consumption drops and you will feel a loss of power (depending on the tire size). Speedometer accuracy can be corrected with the performance tuner. The tuner helps with power loss and helps restore fuel economy. I can't really say how much that helps because how I ride that day, the outside temperature, what load I'm towing, all of these affect my average per gallon. I just know it helps. Basically I am satisfied with the product. The product is durable with all the hardware required for installation. Took me less than a day from start to finish. This made for a nice DIY project and allowed for much larger hoops to be used. Overall with the tires and leveling/raise kit, the truck is now 5.5 inches taller in the front and 4.5 inches in the rear.
