First, the included removal tool made removing clear silicone a tolerable task. I can't imagine that everything would have gone well otherwise. To be honest it was about 80% of the work - preparing and cleaning the surface. The shaving tool made it easy to cleanly cut the old silicone's bond with the glass and tiles, and then use the serrated attachment to grab and pull out the loose silicone. Once everything was sorted out, the app's tools made it easy to select the bead size you need for the perfect job. One of the nice things was that I could easily completely remove a line of fresh silicone if you messed something up, which I did when trying to work around the clamps holding the glass in place. I believe I've had better results with the Cramer Kit than those who installed a shower five years ago!
