I have a house from the late 1980's and the squeegee spout was triangular and looked exactly like this one. I've unscrewed the old one to make sure I know what I'm getting into but some details of the item for sale are missing from the picture on Amazon. If you have a Delta faucet, the brass fitting is inside the spout. If you have a brass screw, then this is the right choice. It comes with a spout. Works if you have this installation takes 5 minutes to swap out. Use teflon tape and pliers to remove the old brass fitting. When installing, I lubricated the O-ring with silicone grease. Everything went smoothly and without any problems. A dripping faucet no longer squeaks when you shower. The old faucet was also made of plastic, so those complaining about metal and plastic needn't know that it was the same thing back in the 1980s. I'm just glad they're still around so I can clean up the look of the tub.
