To save some of them a lot of reading work, I recommend this computer for what most people need. I've played Steam games on ultra or high graphics settings with no issues, edited and recorded multi-track audio and am happy with every aspect, but have made about $300 worth of upgrades to make it much more useful. for me. I liked it for games before the updates, but I needed more RAM for multitrack recording and editing for everything to work perfectly as it requires RAM and CPU. Read on for a more detailed overview. Basically I was looking for a computer to record and edit multitrack audio and secondly to play games on Steam. I think if something is good to play, it usually makes good recordings. I used the system for a day and was happy with it except for two things, mainly just settings and generally unnecessary updates. The only thing that really stood out to me is that while playing Just Cause 3 I got a warning that 8GB RAM is half the recommendation for the game. I turned it down and played around with the graphics on medium and didn't notice any slowdown or anything like that. The game was no worse than on my PS3 console. So before I upgraded anything, it was already a great car and it did what I needed. Now to what I did. I replaced the 8 GB flash drive and installed two identical 16 GB flash drives for about $ 140. I don't need that much at all, but I think I'd upgrade to the best I can spend now rather than upgrade again later. I'd rather not do anything until the whole thing needs to be replaced due to obsolescence (which I don't think will happen any time soon). I also upgraded with another 2TB SSD for a total of 500GB allocated for Windows and a new drive as D:/ for installing programs. There's another spot for a second drive just above the installed drive, which isn't on the glass side of the case but is mounted on the other side of the motherboard, neatly out of sight, keeping the inside clean and tidy. Both updates have been added. There is a lot to do with the technical data, and now I have one in my opinion very good computer. This is exactly what I wanted, except for one thing, which I still don't understand the cause of, but in any case it was easy to fix, at least for now. The only problem is that when I have a powered USB hub plugged in (which works fine on all my other computers, both desktop and laptop), the computer doesn't even boot far enough to get into the BIOS when I reboot do nothing. Unplug the hub and everything is back to normal. It is disappointing, but research is not a exclusive topic for me and others came across it. Didn't find a better solution than separate the hub until Windows drives up and then lock it again. It could be an attitude in the BIOS that is versioned differently than I am used to, so I really don't know exactly. The suggestions people are making online don't help at all, so I just don't use the hub anymore, which means I have to disable something if I need to use more than the six available USB ports the system has. I rarely print something, so I always have to connect a printer. I considered deducting a star for this, but since the issue only bothers me a little and it's not the manufacturer's fault, I think I'm giving it five stars anyway. My general opinion is that this computer is great. Let's just say I'm seriously considering buying another one as my son's computer is 4 years old and needs an upgrade soon anyway. I already have an additional 8 GB-RAM stick that probably corresponds to what is delivered with the second so that I can upgrade, which should be very useful for nothing. I usually build my own computers as this has saved a lot of money in the past and you can build a much better system for the same money. . , but it's nice to have some backup. If I can't figure out a problem with the hub, which I probably will if I need one and can't find one that works as dead, I call support). If I think about buying someone else, you can bet that I like the one I have. I've been building and using computers since 1986 when I first got the Apple Macintosh my dad brought home, so I know a bit about computers and such rather than just guessing. I'm sure this computer will do what I need it to for at least a few more years until something crazy happens like overheating or something else that sometimes happens no matter what computer it is. Enough review and time to use the computer for what I bought it for.
