The previous version of this type of case I had was identical but smaller. The gray foam was already crumbling and peeling off all over the contents. When I received this box, I took the time (over an hour) to heat, scrape, pull, cut and otherwise remove the gray foam stuck to the lid. Pooh! Let me tell you, this stuff is not meant to be deleted. I replaced it with a thin white plastic wrapping material that is smooth to the touch and fairly durable. I only glued it in five places so it can be quickly cut out if needed. The case itself is pretty solid, but I wouldn't say it's very sturdy, I'd say it was strong enough for what I need it to be. . The price was a little high in my opinion, but what's wrong these days? I'm giving it four stars across the board because it meets my needs regardless of the build materials, the cost, and the awful gray foam taped to the lid.
