Review on 🖨️ Maximize 3D Printing Efficiency with MakerBot Smart Extruder Replicator MP07325 by Andres Imaging

I bought the Smart Extruder+ because my original Smart Extruder kept slipping and getting stuck on my Makerbot Z18. First of all, the new Smart Extruder+ was a huge improvement. Prints ran well for 10-15 hours and I never had to unload and reload filament. But after a few weeks and less than 200 operating hours, the new extruder failed. The prints were under-extruded, with gaps between layers making the details brittle, and I only used MarkerBot PLA. It's not a filament issue, the issue doesn't occur when I change extruders. MakerBot extruders are known to have problems, so I figured MakerBot would happily replace or repair the extruder under warranty. I was wrong, after 2 weeks of emailing MakerBot support they recommended I buy another extruder and buy MakerCare! And we are talking about a broken 2 month old extruder that should have a 6 month warranty. I am very disappointed in MakerBot, they know their products have "problems" but still make it difficult to get warranty service.
