pretty quick answer.
I tested this behind my muffler and was probably less than 5 seconds of C02 exposure. he started beeping. I want it to use a 9 volt battery. uses 3 triplets A. But seems reliable, quick to respond and accurate. I am a pilot and would trust this product with my life.
