Nonsense: Fire protection

The original battery had no positive contact and could not be switched on. Replacement lasted less than a month before death.

Not Reliable: Carbon Monoxide Detectors

A reading of zero is taken when carbon monoxide is clearly present. It ended up at 10-20ppm when held right in front of the truck and generator exhausts. Terribly inaccurate.

Carbon monoxide alarm

Despite the quality control label, the unit I received would not turn on. I have checked that the new batteries are good and that they are installed correctly, but unfortunately it does not turn on. i give it back

pretty quick answer.

I tested this behind my muffler and was probably less than 5 seconds of C02 exposure. he started beeping. I want it to use a 9 volt battery. uses 3 triplets A. But seems reliable, quick to respond and accurate. I am a pilot and would trust this product with my life.

Good starter tool - Fire Safety

Usually a good read. Batteries do not discharge quickly. Still on my first set after using it daily for almost 2 months. Sometimes at readings around 5ppm, other more expensive gauges don't register anything. So not sure how accurate it is on the lower level. But every time I dial 10ppm and up, other meters get similar readings.

Works great for safety

Purchased to warn me about carbon monoxide levels when camping offline and using propane for heating. I've used this several times and it works great. You can set the alarm to sound at any level you want (I set it low for safety), and the battery lasts for days. Never unplug your indoor campground or heat it with propane or any other potentially toxic heat source without a pollution level control tool! TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! :)
