Overall this is a well made product, no plastic, all metal. For me, however, the 1/4 inch reverse osmosis tube fitting didn't hold up and when I decided to buy a fitting that was safe to thread in, I found that the shank had a non-standard 1/4 inch Diameter had it is impossible to adapt. to the screw on the fitting. If you are happy with the compression connection from the tube to the stem then this is a great buy. Note, however, that it will not fit a standard 1/4" fitting. It ended up in the bin and I had to order another faucet that was the standard 1/4".
