I LOVE THIS BOARD! I've been using this for 6 months now. I rubbed them with mineral oil for the first two days, then with walnut oil. I applied probably 6 times with walnut. It's VERY heavy, I believe the shipping weight was 88 pounds and I believe it. It was extremely durable and easy to clean. I keep some white vinegar in a spray bottle for scraping raw meat off the board and use a damp cloth for general cleaning. It's also a statement in your kitchen, people see it and know right away you're a bad scammer. Nobody who sees you cutting on this board will dare to doubt your culinary skills. It doesn't matter if you just cut off the top of the macaroni cheese box. You will bow to your insane ability to buy a cutting board.
