Review on SNDWAY SW 525A 30 130DB Digital Display by Tim Harrington

I tried to love it. I've bought it twice from two different Amazon sellers and both were within 15+ decibels. I know this for a fact because I have several other finely calibrated handsets and read them in a perfectly quiet room in the 30's and these puppies are consistently reading 44 plus. IF you happen to buy a perfectly calibrated calibrator, or have the means to do so yourself, by which I mean own a certain precision calibrator that costs a lot, then you will love it. What I like about it: Sleek design, it's really cute, the glossy finish is flawless and high quality, and the numbers display well. - Absolutely black screen. - Size - Readability of the shape from a distance - INSTANT response to sounds, it is measured in real time so it immediately shows the amount by sound level - It has some useful functions Calibration: - Position of the USB connector. It's really not the place for me. I think some people wouldn't mind hanging it on the wall, but I wanted it to be mounted on a flat surface and the bottom cable connector to put it upside down and not be tight. If the manufacturer could fit four USB plugs into each wall, it would be very versatile for anyone who wanted to install it and plug it in just like that. If only there were one plug option, left, right, up, down and just in case at the back, so that it could be mounted on a desk from the back like a computer with the cable. it will make everyone happy depending on the situation. Still room for improvement: - The supplied cable is very short. USB cables aren't expensive these days, so they should come with a much longer cable, as the cable that comes with it is two feet long at best. Since it cannot be charged and needs to be plugged into a source via a USB cable, it is not portable, you need to be close to the source. I solved this problem by buying the power bank that you use to charge the iPhone and it worked without any problems. I maxed out the 30,000 bank and this machine was plugged in for hours and performance hasn't dropped a percent. So that tells me you can run them on the power bank for days if not weeks. I don't know as I haven't checked for so long, but it seems so. I think it would be a huge plus if it could be turned into a paid device for any manufacturer. Should also come with ONE stand for those who don't want to damage walls or just want to hang on the wall. I could hang it anywhere with double-sided self-adhesive tape so it won't damage the walls, but I really don't like it hanging on the wall. So the point. If you can calibrate it and don't need a portable one and can live with a short cord, or get a longer one and don't have to sit on a desk, it's a good device.
