Makes driving safer without blocking the view through the windshield.
The long arm of this holder allowed me to attach a suction cup to the lower left corner of the windshield and mount the phone directly in line with the driver's side A-pillar. This provides a clear view of the phone (I mainly use it for navigation) without blocking my view through the windshield. This is exactly what I was looking for. The car it is installed on is a Chevrolet Silverado.
