These scissors work like a dream! I have goats and have used Clipmaster and Oster clippers for decades. I had to buy sheep shears to shave my LGDs in the Great Pyrenees. They play in the water and get hot spots in the summer if I don't shave them. As expected, they are as loud as a large hair clipper. Yes, they heat up quickly, but I've never used a clipper without heat. I keep a can of Kool Lube handy so I can trim my dog's hair without stopping.
