This is an amazing product! And the nano aquarium is GREAT for nano aquariums! So to clarify some of the things I noticed in other reviews: - Nano tanks are 20 gallons or less. But this product clearly states 5 packs of 5 gallons each, so while they can certainly be used on a 20, I would use them on smaller nanos. The more bags, the more production and the higher the cost, so don't complain, that's common practice. The seller states that you cannot open large packages and split them into two smaller packages (of course this will be cheaper) and that the product will not be compensated. correctly (purigen and resin beads) and MAY NOT work. What I see like it would be true. I did this before I knew it and tried to mix it before opening it so the colors were mixed as evenly as possible before I poured half. I guess I was either lucky (it still worked), but maybe it didn't work that long (?) and it's really more convenient to have them pre-packaged. I only did this on both of my 10 gallon tanks because I didn't know they had a nano version. Well to be honest I find it easier to toss 2 bags into a 10 gallon cooktop than to try and squash a half pack filled with stockings from a larger pack. The small packages are really great for my HOBs on my 2.5. and 5.5 gallon tanks. They are perfect because they fit these tiny HOBs, especially the 2.5 inch ones. The bag is not flimsy at all, but it seems quite durable to me. I can't imagine how it could fall apart unless it was under a direct stream of high-powered water. I'm sure I could allay any other concerns from the few people who rated low. Oh, and while this is true for reef or saltwater aquariums, it's fine for a fresh aquarium, mine is. I bought this specifically to reduce nitrates in one of my 10 gallons that I had to feed heavily and had a lot of plant debris. But I've added one more of the 10 gallons which is heavily fed due to the large number of viviparous juveniles. Now I will naturally install them in all my other tanks. In two dozen I use 2 bags. I used 1 and it lasted about a month under these conditions.
