I have tested many of these recording interfaces so far; this interface is similar to many other generic recording interfaces. It works with most recording programs and can interact with OBS, but can also record directly in a player like VLC. I was able to do 1080p 60fps with a slight reduction in color settings. It still looked good for streaming, but I wouldn't use it for video production. It didn't support 4K when I tried to output 4K to it. After 30 minutes of use the box was hot, but not hot enough to burn my hands like some boxes. Given the price and features; You hope it lasts a long time. Overall it works well if you just want a basic recording interface for gaming/streaming. This is much better than capturing directly with your GPU, or even CPU-based capture, which is much slower.
