They work for me. - my new review
After 2.5 months of use in various Dewalt tools (drill/drivers, reciprocating saw, and finish nailer, I'm pleased with their performance. I have two Dewalt chargers and noticed one didn't seem to charge the batteries on the first attempt. Since I usually only work one tool at a time, it hasn't been a problem as I rotate them onto the one charger. I will try the second charger again and update. Longetivity is also undetermined as my original Dewalt batteries lasted me for a few years, gradually running down quicker until they were basically useless.
- Comparable for entire Dewalt series of 18-volt dewalt batteries tools, Compatible for dewalt batteries: DC9096 DC9098 DE9039 DE9095 DE9096 DE9098 DW9095 DW9096 DW9098. (NOTE: Not compatible with DW9226 charger)
- The battery may not be able to hold a charge as well in extremely cold or hot temperatures
