I am so grateful that I ordered this lure. I built the closets in the hallway and used hidden soft close hinges. This jig made installing these hinges so easy. First, I'd like to address that I read several reviews that said the plastic holding the drill was deformed by the heat of the drill. I can only imagine that these people lined up a whole series of doors and drilled holes almost quickly, but even then I can't imagine how they positioned the jig and chucked it in so quickly that the drill bit didn't get cold. before it's time to drill again. I had no problems with my template and used this template to install 36 hinges in 12 doors. The drill bit used to drill the hinge hole is very sharp and makes a hole cleanly. This clamp does not come with clamps so you will need these as well as a drill to use them. I created a stencil to place next to closet doors to create focal points. From there it was just a matter of aligning the center point with the mark on the jig and drilling straight down. The included locking ring on the bit allows you to drill the perfect hole at the perfect depth every time. Don't worry about drilling too deep into the wood. If I hadn't ordered this light I might have missed a few doors and probably still been working on installing it. If you want to install some kind of DIY hidden clutch, just save yourself the hassle and order it. I do not regret this purchase at all and recommend it to anyone involved in a similar project.
