This is not comparable to an original DeWalt 6ah battery. It holds closer to 3 or 4 amp hours but it's so much cheaper that it is worth it if you can get it to charge. I have three chargers: DCB112, DCB113 and DCB115 and it only charges on DCB115. Even then it has to be completely depleted before it will start charging and if I disturb it part of the way through it won't charge any more until it is depleted again. After heavy use with a grinder and multiple charging cycles it charges to 80 percent. I would not recommend it for most people, but if you have a DCB115 charger and you feel lucky, it might be worth trying for the right person.
