Review on R3 Promo Pocket Classic Clamp Pack by Mitchell Norman

I wish Kreg mounts weren't that expensive but they make a good product. Easy to use and for $50 it's an easy way to really improve your weekend carpentry. I wish they sold a cheaper option that didn't include all the extras like bags of different size screws, hole plugs, carry case, Kreg clamp plate. Maybe that's fine for some people, but I really just need a mount and a bit. A word of advice, if you're buying this for a 2x4 project, this 2-barrel mount isn't what you need. The barrels are too close together for a 2x4. Kreg makes a 3 barrel jig, I think this is their $100 kit and you would use external barrels on a 2x4. This 2 cylinder jig requires you to move the jig to drill the 2nd hole on a 2x4. So in retrospect I would either buy a single barrel light or a triple barrel. I'm sure it can be used with other sizes of wood, but I do a lot of 2x4 work.
