The refurbished laptop I received from SKYTECH USA LLC appears to have been heavily used and no work has been done to clean or repair it. In addition to the expected scratches on the outer surface, there was a long list of flaws that I consider unacceptable in a supposedly refurbished device. 1) Dust and dirt on the screen and keyboard immediately out of the box. 2) Jack for headphones. seemed messy as I had no sound from the right hand side unless I pushed the jack. A little cleaning with alcohol seems to have mostly solved this problem. 3) A loose hinge that wobbles slightly, although it doesn't seem to affect the functionality of the hinge yet. 4) Trackpad feels loose on the left side, makes a clicking sound when touched gently. 5) White cloud on display, visible only on black screens. 6) Lots of dust in SD card slot 7) Battery condition seems to have deteriorated significantly. I can only hope that if I encounter any major issues with this unit during use, they will honor their one year warranty. This laptop model itself looks well built and should be fast enough for my kid's limited use. The battery life is only 3-3.5 hours, but it could be an old battery.
