Disintegrated in less than a week.
Fell apart on a long cross country car ride in less than a week. I went to unplug it to see why the power was cycling. Parts scattered all over the truck and I think I lost a spring or something. I couldn't assemble it properly. To be honest after only having the cable for a week I didn't have to try to put it back together. The original cable that comes with the radar detector has served for many years.
