Review on Saniflo 008 SANIVITE Heavy Duty Water Pump - Gray Color, Enhanced for Higher Ranking by Michal Cedronski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

in use for over 5 years. I wash it every half a year, completely disassembling it. there is no smell, because I connected the drain hose from the washing machine to the vent, and led the other end into the ventilation shaft. Fortunately, the pump is in the pantry and nothing is visible. the sewer pipe itself is laid along the ceiling at a slight angle and hidden by a stretch ceiling. the pump raises the drain to a height of 2.5 meters and then to a distance of 8 meters. copes easily. Unfortunately, the pump failed once. the masters were called under warranty, but it turned out not to be a warranty case: the rubber protection of the float was torn, a puncture with something sharp. water got in and the relay burned out. there are no pretensions to the pump, it’s our own fault, we lower everything into the sink, there is no filter. but to the craftsmen who made the repairs claim for the duration of the repair. everything was delayed for 1.5-2 months. I had to put a bucket under the sink, there was a smell in the house and during this time the sewer pipe dried up and clogged. I had to pierce with a vacuum pump. The repair itself cost about $2,000. do not forget to put a drain tap for easy draining. attaching photo))

Pros
  • reliability, compactness, simplicity
Cons
  • a little noisy, but there is nothing to compare with, perhaps other pumps are even louder))
