Review on 📀 50pcs Gigablock DVD+R 8x Dual Double Layer 8.5GB/240min - White Inkjet Hub Printable by Lance Story

A year ago I wouldn't have tried using these discs to burn on my old HP DVD burner. This burner was so finicky that it could only write to Verbatim DL media with reasonable reliability. After installing a new LG Black Super-Multi BD burner, I decided to give it a try as the price was less than half that of Verbatim DL discs. My initial rating of these discs was not very good. After 8 discs with the ImgBurn software at maximum speed (8X) I had two cradles and one of the remaining six playing erratically in my Blu-Ray players, although it turned out fine. Five out of eight brings the price closer to that of Verbatim discs, with the added hassle of wasted rewriting time. I decided to burn these discs at a slower speed. I recorded 10 discs at 2X with 100% success and have since recorded 10 more at 4X with 100% success. The print finish is good and gives a professional look to discs printed on HP and Brother inkjet printers. I really liked these discs and will buy them again. I rated this item 4 stars because I understand that it doesn't work well with many of the cheap OEM recorders that come with many computer manufacturers' equipment. However, if you have the right burning software, these discs are a 5 star product.
