I've seen some people point out that you have to push the pole pieces together and they'll slip off, but wish they could be twisted together instead; but my poles REALLY came together, you can even see the spiral grooves! I don't know if they had another version of this brush or if they just pushed them together to clean the ridges, but on my mop (1/2021) they fit snugly and screw together tightly. In addition, the brush is hard enough for stubborn stains on floors, carpets and tiles. It's great for cleaning upstairs walls as well as removing cobwebs, cleaning windows inside or out (with a mop), cleaning decks, cement and more! You will need a cleaning bucket that is at least 10 inches wide as the brush is almost 9 inches wide. The neck doesn't bend, it's rigid as intended. This is a versatile product for many purposes!
