I bought this headset to replace the LG HBS750 headset which lost a channel after about a year. I was very happy with it and thought the HBS780 could be a good upgrade. It seems suitable for listening to music. The sound quality is about as good as you'd expect from headphones, and after 20 years of working with jet engines, my hearing isn't that good. The music sounds good enough for me. As a phone headset, it's a different story. My wife's comments follow the line "What are you talking about?" and "Looks like you're at the bottom of a well" and "Please switch back to your phone" and "I don't understand you. We'll talk later." Definitely not what I want to hear from the person I most want to talk to. So back to Revane!
