I got both the open-toe and closed-toe version of this Nuvein compression socks. I had never had an open-toe compression socks, so I wasn't sure how I was going to take to it. Turns out, I love it; they work and they're perfect for indoor wear.It's too bad they rip rather easily. I ripped a small hole while I was trying to take it off (I followed directions on the package).The open toe is more comfortable than the closed toe. They apply even and effective compression only where I need it -- and my toes don't need it. They don't feel as stuffy since my toes are allowed to breathe. I reserve the closed-toe pair for only when I'm outdoors (I chose a different color for the closed toe just so I can tell the closed-toe and open-toe versions apart).If you've never used compression socks, they can be very tricky to put on. The package provides very helpful illustrated instructions on how to put these on!---These are effective and perfect for indoor wear in my opinion. Pity my pair ripped rather easily; hence the deduction of two stars!
