Review on 🐠 Finnex FugeRay LED Aquarium Light with Moonlights by Luisana Brooks

Great value for fish and aquatic life

I have this on a 35 HEX freshwater fit I've only had it a few weeks but so far so good. Given the height of the tank (25 inches), the light isn't enough to get into the "middle" section. I've added FugeRay-R, which helps, but I'll probably add another FR or something like that soon. The mounting bits worked great on this old tank with the "standard" rim. The only criticism is the cable length. It has a reasonable number of wires from the wall to the power supply, but not close enough to the lamp IMO. They use very thick wire so I don't think there will be any significant resistive losses if they add another 12 to 24 inches of wire. my own external power supply so I can dim the lamp with a controller. This is fairly easy as everything is laid out simply and there is plenty of room in the mount to work. A common cathode configuration means you either have to use p-channel MOSFETs to dim each side, or be content with dimming both at the same time. I chose the latter, but connected a relay so I could programmatically disable one or the other.
