Learning to use a stencil isn't easy, but it's worth it.
It is made of hard plastic and the design looks great. I'm not very good at using stencils, but I kept trying and the end result looks pretty good. My work wasn't perfect, but it gave it a hand-painted look. It was a complete transformation of my very soft white tile backsplash. A little tricky to clean but they hold up to cleaning.
